Our Story

Realty Choice initially opened in March of 1984 as Dan DiRenzo Real Estate, located on Union Street in Rockland Center. The business plan was to be creative and take a different approach to real estate sales by offering buyers and sellers an opportunity to work closely with local agents presenting new and innovative ideas.

Our programs were unique at the time and consisted of seller & buyer contract control, guaranteed advertising, negotiable commission fees, participation promise, and much more.

This new real estate agency model offered a refreshing change to the way residential real estate was typically transacted, and it caught on fast. Growth and expansion came quickly thereafter, with a second office location in the town of Halifax opening within just a few months. More agents brought more customers and new relationships with people and communities throughout the South Shore, enhancing the company’s increasing success.

This once localized, small town real estate agency soon needed to display the ability to offer services throughout the South Shore and Plymouth County. Therefore, in March of 1986, the company incorporated and made the name change to Realty Choice, Inc. This necessary move allowed the company and its agents the ability to confidently service all communities, from Quincy to Plymouth.
